My randomized playlist is a strange thing. The last three songs were Sabbath Prayer from Fiddler on the Roof (*), then a Ramones cover of Needles and Pins, then the theme from Dawson's Creek. And now it's Nine Inch Nails.

(* Geeky confession of the moment: I'm a big musicals fan all round - I have Les Mis in the original French, for crying out loud - but I love Fiddler on the Roof. My brother played Tevye in his high school production when he 16. I was ten, and because I was reading the lines with him I ended up learning it by heart. Still know most of it too. Also watched the movie a million times that year, and fell insanely in love with Perchik - it took me another 7 or 8 years to realize he was friggin' Starsky.)

My layout's still very basic, but now has poetry running down the right hand side.

But since I could only squash so much onto the page, some other stuff I like will have to go here, so I can put it in my memories. (I really hope I lj-cut everything right; if not, it'll be fixed in a minute, and sorry for the huge space taken up on friendslist)

Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] circe_tigana!

May the heathen gods give you a terrific day.

A quite naive question from me, since I've never attended a wedding much less participated in one - where do you get bridesmaids' dresses? Are they custom made or bought off the rack? (I assume you can do both, so which is more common?) If they're custom made does the person have a shop, do they come to the house, what?

(This is for the backup Dawn/Xander fic, [livejournal.com profile] _green_, I promise I haven't forgotten *g*)

ETA: 763 words and Xander hasn't managed to make it into the fic yet. Dawn's just too demanding...

David Boreanaz picture - no words. Well... two words and a sound. The hair! Eeek!

(ETA: to balance it out, a picture in which DB smiles goofily. Because I love the goofy smile.)

Happy new year, everybody!
