You know what I really like about all the "10 unpopular opinions" meme going around? How many people are saying "y'know, I liked Riley". *g*

I won some stuff at the Willowy Goodness Awards! (Okay, I was up against about two other people, but it's exciting if you're me)

I'd write more, but I'm busy playing. My parents gave me my birthday present a week early so I could use it to work on my presentation. It's a shiny new laptop, and I'm madly in lust. Mmm, DVD-RW...

500th Post!

...and a hush descended over the internet as doyle_sb4 made her 500th post.

Well, not really. But my love of nice, round numbers makes me very happy that I'm 'friend of' 200 people right now.

And now I shall blatantly nick a rather brilliant idea from janedavitt. Since I can't afford to send Christmas cards to everyone on my friends list, anyone who wants to can respond to this with a character/pairing (and request, if you want) and I'll try to write them a tiny little ficlet in December. Ficathons and uni permitting, natch.

I'm playing that game where you put two words in google and try to get only one match. So far I've tried "logorrhea helmet" (36), "giraffe constipation" (686 matches) and "xylophone anaphylactic" (4 matches). I'll beat it yet.
