(no subject)

As well as the aforementioned assignments and reports I now have a thick biography of Lise Meitner to read for Tuesday, and yet I still went out last night... I am weak-willed. But good at prioritising, so at least one of my assignments can be put off for a week. And I'm a fast reader, plus Meitner's very interesting. She was responsible for a lot of the theory of nuclear fission, but it was her back-stabbing partner who got the Nobel and the accolades for her work (well, he had a penis, after all. /sarcasm.) I'm amused that me and the one other girl in my Masters class both independently picked "Sexism in Physics" as our presentation topics.

Off to do some reading.

(Pssst. Last night I got off with a guy who was dressed as Morpheus from The Matrix (I was a hippy). But I was more amused at seeing Jesus getting together with a she-devil.)
