Presents for me!

harmonyfb's package arrived! This is where you have to imagine me bouncing happily and rifling through a big cardboard box.

I got a cool mix CD and Graham crackers and marshmallows (which incidentally are so much nicer than any I've had over here - stickier and much less floury) and hot chocolate with little marshmallows in it!

This lead to a dash to the shops for chocolate and some scientific experimentation with the microwave as marymac and I investigated that eternal mystery: how do you make s'mores, anyway? After a first less-than-successful attempt, gooey chocolately goodness was achieved. (On the first try we left it in the microwave too long because we got distracted by the fact that marshmallows expand. Or at least I did. My father doesn't believe me about the expanding thing - he's insisting the mallows would just go on fire - so I think more s'mores are on the menu later tonight. Mmm.)

I really like the Graham cracker things. harmonyfb, you so rock.

Off to read fanfic and write my story for the Andrew flashficathon. Mmm, Andrew and marshmallows. Life is good.
