Job, and fanfic stuff
Jun. 24th, 2003 09:41 amAnother job interview today, for a nice brainless shelf-stacking job (which I'd actually like - it doesn't require me to think or deal with the public). So far I'm getting really good at handling rejection, so I wouldn't be surprised if I go in there and say "it's okay, you don't have to hire me, I'm sure everyone else is much better qualified" and walk out again.
Now that my site's online (finally!) I'm looking at doing updates. Even though I have about 9000 pieces of fanfic on file, I went trawling through fanfiction.net. The amount of Spike-bashing in B/A and B/X fics (even well written ones) is hilarious. I guess it's karma for how Xander and Angel get treated in a lot of Spuffy.
Making this observation to
connorbeast on MSN lead to ludicrous heights of mock-bashing. I'm particularly fond of CB's description of Spike as "foul child of Lilith, who always took the last piece of toast without making more".
