Flashfic!

It's just turned Monday in the UK (is the Sunday100 up yet?), so here's my flashfic. It was written for sarahsworld; the pairings she asked for were Buffy/Wesley or Spike/Xander. I went for Buffy/Wesley.

I started writing a completely different story, fiddled with it for nearly two weeks, then scrapped it and wrote this instead last night. I couldn't make the other story work in 1000 words - I hope I'll finish it at some point.
