Kevin, you have to write this Badficathon request. And somebody has to write mine, because the one true love of Spike and Lana will not be denied.

(On a side note? Playing the X-Box Return of the King game with Kevin and [livejournal.com profile] connorbeast is an interesting experience. For a start, I thought they were both going to kill their brains laughing at the cast recording session ("Dom hasn't been a gamer for very long" etc), then they switched to Soul Caliber so we could have a tournament, and took to using shouting quite unusual threats. "I'll take you down like PR oppressing Dom and Elijah, bitch!" etc.

Dl_anon is occasionally a bad influence.)

I hope someone signs up to write a badfic for you since my effort is totally unworthy. It's a bad badfic.

A Whole New World - A Spana Badfic for Doyle

I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did
You last let your heart decide?

Spike didn't know why he was drawn to Lana. He'd been settling into a new crypt in the town of Smallville when he heard a lilting voice. Following it, he'd found a girl whose beauty made his undead heart pound in his chest. She'd been talking to the graves of her parents, reminding him of Drusilla at her craziest and the blood he'd ingested earlier throbbed in his undead body.

As he got to know her, he grew to love her even more. It could have been the way nothing seemed to faze her. When he'd killed the gooey stretch-o-matic bug man who'd been stalking her, she simply looked at him with her glorious orbs, smiled blankly, and bobbed her head, letting her dark, flowing mane bounce enticingly.

It hadn't taken long for him to win her heart. When he told her he was a vampire, she was thrilled that he'd shared his secret with her. He hadn't told her that he'd never kept it a secret. If it made his little exotic Kansas born and bred love-muffin happy, then it was all right with him.

I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways and under
On a magic carpet ride

Spike remembered fondly their first night together. He'd wanted it to be perfect. He'd spent hours on deciding what music should be playing. He'd stolen roses from the Kent's gardens, plucked the petals from them, and spread them over the satin sheets of the large canopy bed he'd installed in his crypt for the occasion.

When Lana stood before him and coyly slid her bra straps down, he couldn't help himself.

"Cor," he whispered, in amazement that she even needed to wear a bra.

He lay her down on the satin sheets, and slowly and gently took her virginity. She let out a soft "Oh" when he impaled her with his extremely long and thick manhood.

Simultaneously, they gasped their fulfillment. Later he soothed her womanly parts with his tongue, and got a nice snack, besides.

A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming

They'd ventured into Metropolis. Spike had heard of a demon club and he'd wanted to show Lana off. He hadn't counted on the fact that every creature there had immediately set their sights on getting his girl. Fortunately, Lana was absolutely amazing with her power kicks that rivaled any Slayer's.

The tale of their adventure got back to her ex-boyfriend, however. At the first sight of Clark, Spike had flashbacks to that do-gooder Riley. He was huge and protective, with a tendency to verbally threaten. The All-American corn-fed, farm-raised boy.

Spike hadn't wanted anything to interfere with his relationship with the lovely Lana. He loved her. He also suspected that Clark, like Riley, had hidden, darker depths so he followed him one night. After watching Clark and his dear friend Lex together, Spike exhaled an unnecessary breath from his undead lungs. He didn't have to worry about Clark wanting Lana back, after all.

A whole new world
A dazzling place I never knew
But when I'm way up here
It's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new world with you
Now I'm in a whole new world with you

Life with Lana was never dull. It seemed as if there was always some new mutant sniffing around her for him to fight and kill.

To show her love for him, she'd given him a necklace containing a rock of the meteor that killed her parents. That was just one more reason he adored her; she was so outrageously morbid.

She'd told him it was for luck and the luck must have paid off because now Lana was his wife and pregnant with his child. He'd watch her as she bustled around the Talon, making coffee and chatting to customers and happiness would sing through his undead veins.

Lana was pregnant with his son and he had the perfect name for his child.

He hoped Lana liked the name Connor.

The End (Thank God!)

Bwahahaha! Oh my God, it's perfect. And what a great song!

"Cor," he whispered, in amazement that she even needed to wear a bra.
