on 2004-01-14 05:27 pm (UTC)I've just read 'Brittle' and wanted to say I love it! Lovely writing and you manage to fit so much into such a short piece. I'm awed. So many small details that describe far more than you'd expect. The fact that Wes was so pale, the way Connor was 'jerked' awake by the sudden breaking. Wonderful. And then there was the cold caution of the refound Connor. The way he unsurprisingly finds it still hard to trust anyone completely. This is the kind of Connor I'd love to see reappear on AtS!
