Wow. Wow. Reading through the Dawnficathon and liking what I see so far, but this? This is *gorgeous* and turns out to be exactly what I wasn't even looking for. & ;-)
You've got Dawn down, Doyle-- always been a fan of your fiction, but this is just a wonderful exploration of her character and the Way Things Might Be. Adore the gentleness of this piece-- while I like dark Dawnfic as much as the next person, this was just a perfect holiday story. Or rather, a perfect story set in the holidays. Luverly.
