Honor Among Thieves - Angel/Gwen
She doesn't really expect him to show. Isn't sure whether she's been played by a master or if a pleb lucked out, but either way, she's lost the stupid Axis.
Except she turns to go and he's there. She blinks. Damn. The guy's big, but he moves without a sound.
"Nice hotel," she says. "What are you, a bellboy?"
He tosses her the Axis.
If this guy has a second name, it's 'Taciturn'.
"Did you find her?" She doesn't know why she cares, or why a second later he's kissing her again. Brutal and strong, and he tastes like electricity.
