So I'm uploading long fics to my palmpilot - just finished converting Yahtzee's Phoenix Rising to the right format. I've never read it, but always meant to. I notice that the last page has a mention of a new Slayer in Northern Ireland, which gave me a moment of national pride.

Anybody got recs for me? I'm looking for long stories, any pairing (het, slash, femslash, conventional, OT3, it's all good). Angst is good but I'm in the mood for funny or fluffy today (I already have Small Fry, Son of Small Fry, Chocolatey Goodness and I'm going to do Days of Our Unlives)

I'd also quite like long, funny Clex stories or Jack/Elizabeth PoTC fic.

Yay! Have you read [livejournal.com profile] malisita's Jack/Elizabeth/Will And a bottle of rum (http://malisita.com/ats/pirates.html) series? It's very good.

I'm going to pimp myself, since I know you liked 'Something Lavender'. This is 'Buffybot Behind Bars!' Eighteen rollicking chapters of it:

Cast Away (http://evilsecrets.net/onegoodlay/cd/castaway.html) is a hilarious fluffy Spuffy fic. Normally, I don't enjoy Spuffy, but this one was awesome.

Yahtzee's Angel fan fic is really good too. I enjoyed The Quality of Mercy (http://www.thechicagoloop.net/yahtzee/chivalry/Chivfic/QualityIntro.htm) (Angel/Riley), but it's only 8 chapters long. Not sure how long you consider long to be.

Sorry, I haven't got any recs, since I got most of my favourite fics off 'Ice Cream for Freaks' *g*

Did you know that the Irish slayer is a shout-out for [livejournal.com profile] rheanna27? Cool, huh? And you've never read 'Phoenix Burning'? Go. Now. Drop everything.

I really like Odds Against Tomorrow (http://www.imjustsayin.net/jennyo/archive/buffy/odds.html), a nifty noirish Angel ensemble story with some interesting storytelling devices. And Chiaroscuro (http://www.sparkgirls.com/stories/violet/chiarosc.html) by Violet is just lovely and wonderful and very very Anya. 'Til it Bleeds Daylight (http://aliencorn.net/stories/daylight.html) is Wishverse Giles/Oz, and thus probably bleaker than you're looking for, but amazing nonethless.

As for Clark/Lex, hee. I could probably babble at you all day. Freshman Orientation (http://www.smallvillefanfic.com/archive/7/freshmanorientation.html) and Switch: A Comedy of Terrors (http://smallville.slashdom.com/archive/17/switcha.html) are both required reading in the long and funny department, if you ask me.
